The crew at Vagrant Films come from very different walks of life from all over the world, but we all share a passion for creating screen content. We collectively have over 40 years of experience
in the film industry and are keen on expanding that knowledge. Here are some short bios on the key members of the team.
Adrian is the leading Writer/Director of our major productions. When not handling the day to day of Vagrant Films he's been busy making short films, TVCs and his first TV Pilot, recently shot on Cockatoo Island. Also an avid script writer, he's developing several feature film and TV scripts for production in the coming months. He's just finished post-production for his latest short film 'One Sunny Day' and is now in pre-production on the next short. He's worked for big Aussie clients such as Samsung, LG, Telstra, Toshiba, Garmin and many more.
Marie is our resident producer and hails from the spiritual home of film itself, Paris, France. She's worked extensively in the Australian entertainment industry for such powerhouses as Sony
Pictures, FremantleMedia and Roadshow/BBC, if you can name it, she's been there and mastered it. When our productions need a guiding hand, some location permit magic or some plain old fashioned
people skills, Marie is there to keep the team running like clockwork.
Lucy is our multi-talented Set, Costume and Makeup design expert and handles all of our Art Direction needs. She's had extensive experience designing for theater as well as film, creating sets, costumes and everything in between. She's created sets and costumes for productions such as La Bohème, The Gondoliers, Beckett, and most recently Mr. Stink soon to premiere at the Sydney Opera House. She's created makeup effects on many large scale film productions including our very own Vagrant Story and our recent Fenix 3 TVC with Commando Steve. When our project needs a specific look, style or tone achieved, she's the one we call.
Sam is a talented Writer/Director/DoP and is often the life force that keeps us going on our longest shoot days. He's had experience on productions at every scale, from one man bands to Hollywood
sized crews. He's been all around the world and captured some truly beautiful vision in over 12 countries. Sam has directed several short films and music videos in the past year alone and
continues to develop his already keen eye and sense for story as he heads towards creating his first feature film in 2016.
